Tool Box Option

One of our most popular options, the tool box is located on the right front of the machine

and provides ample storage space for teeth, air hoses, grease guns, air tools, etc.

The door is lockable and the front grating swings out for easy cleaning of chips.

Optional air operated grease gun and air line, both mounted with 50 ft. retractable reels.

Since the tool box is located on the right front of the machine,

this makes changing teeth and daily maintenance a breeze.

Vandalism Protection Package

The vandalism protection package features locking capability of all caps, doors, and panels.

Hydraulic Oil Filtration/Transfer Pump

Filters oil during additions or changes. The system consist of a stand pipe, a 24 VDC pump, a

10 micron filter and a check valve. At oil change/addition, the operator places the stand pipe into the hydraulic

fluid container (drum or bucket), and activates the electrical switch. Fluid is drawn up from the container, through the pump.

It then passes through the filter and a check valve into the reservoir.

Advantages...

Ease of operation permits the addition of fluid from the ground, without climbing onto the machine with heavy buckets.
All oil introduced into the auxiliary system is filtered to 10 microns, increasing system life.
Oil can be changed without additional equipment, the transfer pump and filter are always with the machine.

Hydraulic Loop Filtration System

Filters oil during additions, oil changes or hose changes. This consist of a three way valve, a dual element

10 micron filter, and a check valve. Normally oil in the main hydraulic loop bypasses this system through the

three way valve and is prevented from going back into the filters by the check valve. After a hose change, the

operator selects the system to "on" and starts the auxiliary power unit. By placing the cutter head on stroke

oil and dirt circulate through the filtration system. Any dirt present in the system (above 10 microns) will be trapped

in the filters during this time. After 5 minutes, the system is selected off and normal operations can be continued.

This system will filter all oil in the main hydraulic loop and prevent damage from dirty replacement hoses.

Spare Hose Package

The Spare Hose Package is a simple, cost effect option that is very popular with our customers. We build 3 hoses (two high pressure and one low pressure), clean them thoroughly, and cap the ends. These hoses are carried on the machine during operation. If a hose is compromised, the operator can change it out quickly in the field and continue operations for the rest of the day. Meantime, a replacement hose order can be called in for delivery the next day. Results...minimal work stoppage, maximum production.
