Excavator Chip/Debris Protection

Perforated metal is tack welded behind openings of excavator hood and air intakes.  This helps to prevent overheating due to radiator clogging, and also helps prevent danger of fire from dry, or oil soaked chips in excavator engine compartment.  This is another idea brought to us from operators in the field.

Deluxe (standard) Catwalk/Side Protection

By far the most popular catwalk option we offer, the standard package catwalk features 3 X 3" tubing, tied into the excavator side frame and covered with treadplate.  This options is literally the difference between bumping into a tree, or smashing an $800.00 door.  Tough and durable, this catwalk is designed to stand up to the most punishing conditions while preserving side panels, coolers, radiators and hydraulic pumps.  An exclusive standard package from Shinn Systems.

The 6" rolled metal catwalks provide side protection and make maintaining the machine much easier. 

NASCARt WINDOW TEAR OFFS

Window tear-offs have been used in racing for some time now.  They protect driver visors in open cockpit cars, and lexan windshields

in NASCAR, BUSCH, and ARCA race cars.  Very durable, they are scratch resistant and exhibit wear characteristics as good or better than glass.

Shinn Systems uses these protective films on the front glass to prevent crazing and scratching of the Lexan.  3 films are included and last typically three

months or more per film.
