Mount Configurations
This unit utilizes existing controls on the TIMBCO to maneuver the cutter head. Here are
just a few of the mounting configurations...
Straight (power) mount position...useful for maneuvering and grinding larger trees.
90 Degree position for sweeping operations (smaller trees and brush)
Teeth down for spreading chips Push bar down to trap and grind debris
Hydraulic Package Modifications
Pumps
In order to make the most effective use of the power produced by the engine, a larger pump is employed.
Hydraulic flow is switch able to enable the use of the saw head at the lower flow rate. Existing piping is
used to connect the head to the larger pump.
Cooling
Cooling is augmented by an electrically powered cooler mounted on the back of the machine.
Air System (optional)
An optional air system is available with dual 5 gallon air tanks. This system bolts directly to the Cummins
engine and facilitates quick turning or changing of the cutter teeth.
