Advantages

Low Cost Teeth

The SS-350 utilizes Bucktooth cutting fixtures. These teeth cost $26.00 each, compared with others

that can be as high as $55.00. Also, the tooth is independent of the holder. The holders on each side

of the cutting disk are interchangeable, effectively doubling the life of the holder since the opposite side

of the holder is exposed to wear.

Flexibility

The stump grinder can be changed out for a cutter head in less than 45 minutes. Imagine being able to

clear the right of way, change heads, and stump it as well. The SS-350 cutting disk is also interchangeable

with other popular stump cutter disk.

Light Weight

The SS-350 pictured above, when mounted on a Komatsu 228 RTS, will only weigh 68,500 pounds. Compare

this to other excavator mounted units weighing 84,000 lbs and above. Yet, for it's light weight, the SS-350 packs

a powerful punch with 425 HP dedicated to the cutting head. Perfect for multiple move jobs and wet areas.

Maneuverability

The SS-350 when mounted on a CAT 320 CU has only 10' 8" of overhang from the center of the swing gear. The

SS-350 mounted on a Komatsu 228 RTS (pictured above) is only 7" longer than a standard Komatsu 220.

High Production

The SS-350 can handle any size of stump, made of any wood, in a fast, productive manner. Do stumps on slopes and

ditch banks with ease.
